Startup Weekend is coming to Chicago on the weekend of April 3-5, 2009. The $40.00 cost includes 4 meals.
Startup Weekend is a community building startup event. Get together with local developers, marketers, designers, enthusiasts and do what you do best. Start projects, start companies. No talk, all action.
So… how is the event structured? Think organic. Here’s a quote from Nick Seguin, organizer of the event:
The weekends are actually very organic. The idea is to get people together, get ideas pitched, have groups form (hopefully with proportional skill sets) and then really go go go until Sunday night. It’s very “startup-ish”, if you will.
